The Glen Burnie beauty school students gain additional real-world training and education as they participate in special events, such as fashion shows, beauty shows, competitions, fundraising events, community involvement, and more. The students also participate in Empire's National Day of Beauty event, which benefits raising awareness about domestic abuse.
Empire Beauty School's fun and interactive classes are conducted by trained and licensed beauty educators. Our school has a student salon/clinic where you will work on real clients while you learn to build your own book of business. If you want a career with unlimited potential for creativity, flexibility, and making others feel more beautiful, the world of beauty is the perfect place for you.
Empire Beauty Schools are accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS), which holds its members to a higher standard of quality than non-accredited schools.
Augusta REQUIRED HOURS
COSMETOLOGY – 1500 CLOCK HOURS
ESTHETICS – 600 CLOCK HOURS
NAIL TECHNOLOGY – 300 CLOCK HOURS
MAKEUP ARTISTRY – 150 CLOCK HOURS
Student Kit
Our full student kit includes all tools, products and curriculum needed to complete our cosmetology program.
Students receive professional tools and products for use during school and beyond. Each area of our cosmetology program is supported with this complete kit, which includes mannequins, hair tools, skin, nail and makeup kit and more!

The Augusta Empire Beauty School is situated in a popular area of Augusta in the Washington’s Corner Shopping Center (behind Longhorn and California Dreaming restaurants).
Empire’s fun and interactive classes are conducted by trained and licensed beauty educators. The Empire Beauty School in Augusta is a cosmetology school serving the greater Augusta Georgia area as well as surrounding Georgia towns such as Evans, Grovetown, and Hephzibah. Also, many Empire students cross the border from South Carolina with intention of getting licensure in Georgia. Many of the South Carolina cosmetology students come from neighboring towns such as Aiken, Beech Island, and North Augusta.
